Welcome to my website. I have a passion for documenting
beautiful things and
beautiful people!
My name is Gabrielle Elise McGarry and I am a Content Creator based in DFW. I graduated from the University of North Texas in the fall of 2017 with a bachelor's degree in Advertising from the nationally acclaimed Mayborn School of Journalism. Following graduation, I spent my days working as a freelance digital media creator. In January 2019, I began my first “big girl” job as the Social Media Content Creator for The Integer Group and was promoted to Video Production Specialist. I love creating and sharing stories and intend to continue to do this for the rest of my life.
As Video Production Specialist, my role includes creating content for out clients. I specialize in post-production and my day-to-day typically includes animation, motion graphics, sound-mixing and color correcting. When time allows, I enjoy ideating and executing work for the agency to enjoy internally as well a post to our social channels. I feel that my strongest skill that I bring to the table is my ability to tell stories.

As the Social Media Content Creator for the Integer Group, I am in charge of all content creation regarding the client See’s Candies. I conceptualize, photograph and edit each post on the digital platforms Instagram (Feed and Stories) and Facebook. For this specific role, a keen eye is imperative – it has taught me to pay great attention to detail!

As a Production Assistant, I am in charge of curating internal content for over 7,000 employees as well as external content for our 3 million customers. I act as Camera Operator, First Assistant Camera, Motion Graphic Editor and Post-Production Editor. My editing responsibilities include: color correction, audio mixing, motion graphics and non-linear editing. Through this position, I use tools like Lightroom and Photoshop for editing corporate headshots, as well as Premiere and After Effects when working on post-production. As the largest, non-banking mortgage company, Mr. Cooper has allowed me to work with influencers like TED Talk presenters, Orly Waba and Kate Canales. Through this position I have learned valuable knowledge on audio and lighting adjustments, as well as how to work on strict deadlines.

I found my confidence in embracing my personal style and I want to encourage others to do the same. I have been twiddling with the idea of starting a fashion blog for over two years, but have been passionate about embracing individuality since I was a teenager attempting to find where I, myself, "fit in." Everyday Runway is an Instagram fashion "blog" where I photograph, video and interview those around me who have embraced their own style, whether that be grunge, preppy, hippie or high fashion. Through this page, I am able to showcase my skills as a photographer, producer, director, camera operator, storyteller and editor. Despite having a demanding, corporate position, I find time to focus on this project because I am passionate about spreading its message. I post daily and book models every week, so I am used to keeping up with a very busy schedule. This position allows me to perfect my skills using the Adobe Creative Cloud where I am proficient in Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro and After Effects. It is important to me that I pursue this personal project because it not only includes what I am passionate about, but it also provides a platform to showcase individual and real women who can inspire others.
SWOOP is a student-managed marketing and advertising agency made up of roughy 15 students from the University of North Texas. As the video producer and social media manager, I was in charge of producing content for companies and clients like Vikki Hitzges, Peggy Pepper and Kessler Shave. I was head producer for an interview video with keynote and inspirational speaker, Vikki Hitzges, as well as editor for shorter videos which were produced for social media channels like YouTube. As social media manager for Kessler Shave, I was tasked with creating graphics to post on their Instagram. Through this internship experience, I learned how to work with big name clients as well as start-up companies who need help with branding.
As the social media manager for D.E.N. Cosmetics, I was tasked with creating content to post on sites like Instagram. I did product photography as well as short behind the scenes videos. This was my first position in the creative field and through it I learned my way around my Canon 80D, how to be creative when thinking of products, how to do basic color correction through Photoshop and Lightroom, as well as video fundamentals in Adobe Premiere.
During college I joined the Alpha Alpha chapter of Chi Omega and was chosen as the Marketing Director two semesters prior to graduating. This position is the first position that sparked my interest in production and post-production work. Through my year as Marketing Director for a chapter of over 100 girls, I learned the importance of scheduling and working with many different personalities. Taking others' ideas into consideration was my hardest lesson when working on filming short films as well as the dreaded recruitment video. In sorority world, your sorority's recruitment video is everything. For all videos, I acted as Head Producer, Camera Operator and the editor in post-production. This position taught me many valuable lessons, but, above all else, taught me the importance of planning.
